Oh my goodness, what a wonderful story! I loved all the descriptions, and Fraser's concentration on smells and tastes. Poor Ray. I love stories where some other hero saves Lex, since Smallville's Clark so clearly isn't going to do anything of the kind at this point. *sigh* I love the way you reconciled the existence of Lex Luthor and Clark Kent and Smallville with the existence of Superman comics via Due South's long-standing tradition of goofy names. That was absolutely brilliant! Just a terrific story all around -- thank you so much for writing it and putting it up!
