R.I.P. - Sassy - 1995-2011

We had to put our beloved Tuxedo kitty to sleep today. She was suffering from kidney failure and had lost half her body weight since December.

She was a darling, darling girl and I will miss her forever.

I am so sorry, sweetie. I know first hand what a terrible situation you're in- I lost 3 cats in 2010, and I think one of my others doesn't have much longer. It's such a nightmare, but I hope you can take comfort in the fact that she's no longer suffering.

I'm glad she'd no longer suffering and althgough it was hard to watch, I'm grateful we were able to be with her. She didn't go into that dark night without our voices and hands helping smooth the way and ease the hurt.
