In Memoriam
In memory of family and friends who have lost the battle with cancer; and in support of the ones who continue to conquer it! Post this on your LJ if you know someone who has or had cancer. 93% won't copy and paste this. Will you?
My stepfather, Bob Hood: lung cancer - 1990 - my mother has been alone since losing him.
Thamiris - incredible Smallville writer: Breast cancer - 1997 - I miss her every day.
My younger brother, Ken: colon cancer, liver cancer, lung damaged by chemo - currently cancer-free for 4 years. He just turned 50 and is going strong. Sometimes you can win.

And I miss Thamiris, too. I didn't know her well, but it's always hard to lose a friend.

Maternal grandmother: Colon cancer when I was around 2
Stepfather: Lung Cancer, 1999
I keep doing the Komen 3-day in the hope that if we can cure one, we'll find a way to defeat them all.
Here's hoping!
Hugs,
Ace
