Questions about Dreamwidth

I just set up my Dreamwidth journal tonight and need a little info from other Dreamwidth users:

1. If I import my Livejournal to Dreamwidth, does my Livejournal disappear here on LJ?
2. How do I set up a mood them?
3. If you are on Dreamwidth, how do I find you?

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

I can answer 2 of those right off the bat:

No, it just duplicates all your posts (and all the comments as well, if you want)

3. If you are on Dreamwidth, how do I find you?

No, not at all. It gets duplicated.

If you decide to import your LJ to Dreamwidth, you might like to crosspost. That's what I do.

I cross-post as well (the cross-post interface on DW is very easy to use). There are tweaks you can add to the cross-posting footer that will allow both LJ and DW readers to find and follow the posts).

1. Nope it only duplicate it. Posts, comments, tags and icons I think. To keep an updated copy I crosspost from DW to LJ. I even as far as closing comments on LJ something like 3 fails ago (when they gave access from FB and entire threads can be shared and posted to FB.

2. I see someone already answered. You can check out past post on the getting started comm for pointers.

3. I'm writerlibrarian there as well.
